HOW I WORK
This is my general framework for creating custom learning experiences.
However, every project is different—and I pride myself on my adaptability.

Analysis
During the analysis phase, we work with project stakeholders to learn about their goals. I listen and ask a lot of questions. We define the project’s focus and analyze the target audience. The analyses—whether formal or informal—can help us reduce risks for next phases of the project.

Design
Time to get on the same page about the project’s purpose, objectives, and outcomes. Now is a good time to draft storyboards, instructional design documents, or mockups. I can also guide us through developing an assessment strategy.
This is also the stage to plan for Section 508/WCAG 2.1 standards of accessibility. By considering it before development, we design content that is usable for everyone and avoid time-consuming remediation later.

development
We’ve made good progress on the project by now. The design starts to take on a more concrete form. Alongside content creation, we prioritize regular feedback cycles and quality assurance processes—to guarantee the content’s functionality, accuracy, and clarity during the development phase.

implementation
We are now ready for action! In the implementation phase, we initiate the learning process for our target audience. In this phase, I am proactively overcoming logistical challenges.

Evaluation
The metrics and data collection methods were set up at the project’s outset. In the evaluation stage, we assess the effectiveness of the course and pinpoint ways to improve the course content to better meet the target audience’s needs. When feasible, I might suggest conducting multiple performance outcome measurements to gauge long-term impact.
Finally, we can reflect on what what could be done more effeciently and effectively next time.
